Drafted and Approved by His Excellency, Count Airlyn Midsummer, in the 25th year of the Resurgance, known to mortals as the year 1994 AD.

Because, times as they are, the wellsprings of Glamour threaten to run dry in the Court of Carriages and surrounding County,

and

Because it behooves all Galmourous beings to encourage the prolongation of these Glamourous times before the coming of the Great Winter of Banality,

Be it known

to all Fae in the Court of Carriages, be they permanent residents or visitors, that it is of utmost import to us, the Crown, to preserve and protect all sources of Glamour within our County, whether they be animate or non-. And thus, His Excellency, Count Airlyn Midsummer, duly appointed representative of Duke Peregrine au St. Claire of the Duchy of the Straits, who himself is the duly appointed representative of the High King David Ardry, Long May He Reign, declares that:

1) All Glamourous beings, including but not limited to Fae, Gallain, Thallain, Nunnehi, sentient Chimera, Kinain, Enchanted Mortals, and mortal Dreamers, are under our special protection. Any Glamourous being who finds him or herself in danger, Chimerical or mundane, may request the help of the Court, who will send resources as His Excellency, or a duly appointed representative thereof, sees fit.

2) All inanimate sources of Glamour, including but not limited to Freeholds, Balefires, Dross, Chimera, and various other objects which contain, produce, or otherwise store Glamour, are considered County Treasures, and, as such, are under the protection of the County. Any willful and malicious destruction of one of these sources of Glamour, unless necessary for the use of that source of Glamour, is a direct offense against the Fae and other Glamourous creatures of this County, and will be met with the swiftest and harshest punishment possible.

3) If a Glamourous being is in possession of an inanimate source of Glamour at the time of his death, whether it be caused by the death of his mortal body, permanent retreat into the mists, or the undoing of his Fae soul, that source of Glamour becomes the property of the County, and should be brought as soon as possible to the Court, or to a duly appointed representative of the Court. If any Glamourous being is found to have violated this decree, the inanimate source of Glamour and all inanimate sources of Glamour in the Glamourous being's possession shall be confiscated, by force if necessary, and removed to the premises of the Court.

4) His Excellency, Count Airlyn Midsummer, holds the right to final arbitration between any parties who hold a valid conflict within the County. Any Glamourous being, as defined in proclomation 1 above, has the right to have their dispute heard before His Excellency for fair and impartial judgement.

5) In accordance with the Crown's imperative to protect the County and all Glamourous beings therein, His Excellency reserves the right to press into military service any able-bodied inhabitant of the County in times of grave danger to the County. For this purpose, the Crown shall maintain supplies of Chimerical weapons in armories throughout the County.

Through these laws, His Excellency Count Airlyn Midsummer wishes to maintain the peace in the Court of Carriages and to ensure the postponement of the Great Winter for as long as possible through the frugal use and fierce defense of Glamourous resources in the County.

Delivered this day, Beltaine of the 25th Year of the Resurgance, the First Beltaine of the reign of Count Airlyn Midsummer.
